PROJECT SUGGESTIONSYou may choose to work on any of the projects listed or create your own. Please bring your Art supplies and/or chrome books with you if your going to create digital artwork.
PLEASE EMAIL ME ([email protected]) BEFORE 2:00 PM IF YOU NEED SPECIFIC SUPPLIES/IMAGES PRINTED.
- Architectural Design: Draw blueprints" for your vision of what aspects the STEM room should include (walls, floor, furniture, stations....).
- Using "found" materials of your choice, recreate a "SpongeBob" movie poster. You will be provided with the original poster.
- Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio is not the only "Bad Bunny". Combining aspects of the "real" with a fictional "bunny" to create his backup singers/dancer/musicians.
- Crayon melt design on any flat surface which can be used as a "solo" project or combined with any other listed/original projects.
- "Dress a wine bottle as a STEM pioneer/hero/advocate/celebrity using materials of your choice.
- Design a tile sculpture/wall hanging with provided tiles.
- Create an original STEM/STEAM poster highlighting uses/benefits/aspects/outcomes.
- Walt Disney said "If you dream it, you can do it". STEM/STEAM elements were crucial in all his endeavors. Depict these elements in a project of your choice.
- Combine digital and "hands-on" artwork to create a STEM/STEAM pioneer collage.
- Furniture restoration: transform/update/repurpose old classroom furniture. If you're going to use paint for any part of this project, you must bring a change of clothes to prevent your uniform from splatter. Keep in mind that a little bit of paint does the job. Experiment with application methods other than a paint brush. Maintain the cleanliness of your work area.
