Catholic identity is the single, most important distinguishing feature of our school. Catholic schools look and feel Catholic because they incorporate our faith's values and traditions into every aspect of education. The school day begins and ends with prayer, all people are treated with respect, students have frequent opportunities to attend Mass, and lessons and interactions are suffused with Gospel virtues.
At Holy Family School, religion classes are held daily. Students also take part in school-wide Masses that are held periodically to celebrate our Catholic identity and feast days. The faculty works with our priests to plan these celebrations, and students serve as music ministers, ushers, readers, and altar servers. Our school Chapel, open during school hours, is used by students and teachers for prayer services and reflection.
All students may participate in Sacrament Preparation. Second and Third Grade students prepare for their First Holy Communion. Ou Seventh and Eighth Grade Confirmation candidates take part in community service projects and complete over 20 hours of community service.
